Everett Spells is a multi-instrumental Jazz Saxophone Player. Everett plays the Soprano, Alto, and Tenor saxophones. The tenor sax is what Everett prefers to play. Growing up in Newport News, Virginia, Everett studied music throughout his college days at Norfolk State University. in Norfolk Va. Everett graduated from Norfolk State University in 1982 with a B.A. in Music and Media. Since then, Everett has pursued a career in music and is currently playing professionally in the Salisbury Maryland area. Everett has performed with such greats as Frank Foster, Dr. Billy Taylor, Dr. Burgess Gardner, Consuella Moorehead, Bill Lee, Steve Wilson, Billy Drummond, Gary Harris, and the Wooten Brothers. Everett toured with several bands. The " Showman Band" from Va. Bch. in the 70's, the " Staircase Band" from North Carolina in the 80"s, and "Power Play" from Virginia Beach in the 90's. Touring with those bands has given Everett a wealth of experience in performing for a wide range of audiences up an down the East Coast. Forming a solo Jazz Saxophone Project "ESP" (Everett Spells Project) in 1999 has allowed Everett to play Jazz and Popular Music and showcase his talent in a unique, personal and exciting way.  In 2019 Everett is bringing Motown to the Delmarva Peninsula along with his Jazz and Popular favorites. 

Everett has released two solo CD's, "Saxation" and the "Loveliness of You".   He also has collaborated on Power Play's CD "Best Kept Secret" and with Permilla Project on their CD "I Heard That".
